CAN (Controller Area Network) is a serial bus system especially suited to structure intelligent industry devices networks and build smart automatic control systems. Owing to the high transmission speed (up to 1Mbps), reliability, and supervise, the control system can be implemented with high performance and good quality. Based on the features of real-time capability and multi-master, it help to build redundancy system easily. In order to use the CAN network with traditional RS-232 devices, we provide a way to achieve this goal. I-7530 is designed to unleash the power of CAN bus via RS-232 communication method. It accurately converts messages between CAN and RS-232 networks. I-7530 let you to communicate with CAN devices easily from any PC or devices with RS-232 Port.

2500V isolation on CAN side

The CAN is an isolated port with 2500V isolation. This isolation can protect the local RS-232 devices from transient noises coming from CAN network.

Can be used as Addressable CAN to RS-232 Converter

RS-232 devices have no way to be controlled via CAN network. The I-7530 can assign a unique ID to any RS-232 device installed in the CAN network. When the CAN device sends commands to RS-232 device with 7530 CAN ID user-defined by configuration software, the destination I-7530 will only pass the data frame of command to its local RS-232 device. The response of this local RS-232 device can be replied to the source CAN device via this destionation-7530 with its ID and correct data length.
